Chapters One & Two

1. Collect words and phrases that create a sense of danger and foreboding.

3. What is foreshadowing examples ch1-2. Foreshadowing is when the author will hint something dramatic is going to happen before it does, so the readers have to think and make their ideas as to what is doing to happen next. On the last page of chapter two, the author starts to tell the readers something horrible is about to be seen when Bruno looks over the balcony and the author describes Bruno’s actions but leaves the scene a mystery.
